What you will do

• Lead the Android Chapter, providing technical guidance and mentorship to Android developers across multiple squads.
• Define and drive the Android technical strategy, architecture patterns, and technology roadmap.
• Establish and maintain Android coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines across the organization.
• Champion architectural decisions and ensure consistency across all Android projects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Tech Leads to align technical decisions with business objectives.
• Foster innovation and participate in prototyping new features and solutions.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in building Android applications with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or chapter lead role.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and solid understanding of Java.
• Strong experience with modern Android architecture components.
• Expert knowledge of Android Studio, Android SDK, and the Android ecosystem.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as a Chapter Lead or similar role.
• Experience with multi-module architecture and modularization strategies at scale.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, tools, and monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with iOS development to facilitate cross-platform discussions.
