What you will do

• Design, provision, operate, and manage highly available, performant, and scalable distributed application systems on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of infrastructure and solution components.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions, identifying performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Work closely with development, product, security, network, and other operations teams.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, making recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience implementing production-grade solutions.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash), infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar certifications.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and multi-cloud strategies.
