What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 5 talented engineers, taking ownership of a resilient, event-driven platform and building decoupled services at scale.
• Design and engineer robust, scalable state machines, making the complex simple and reliable.
• Take end-to-end ownership of all engineering aspects of our core platforms, including refining dev-tools, optimizing CI/CD, and ensuring engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with the Product, UX, and Architecture teams to guide the strategic development of our platforms and drive the future direction of our technology stack.
• Empower and mentor engineers through in-depth code reviews, fostering the next generation of tech leaders and cultivating engineering talent within the team.

Requirements

• Proven technical leadership with 2+ years of experience guiding teams through demanding delivery cycles, alongside 5+ years of comprehensive Full-Stack development proficiency, specifically with Python/FastAPI and React (preferred) /Angular/ Java/ Go.
• Demonstrated expertise in Distributed Systems: Veteran of microservices and event-driven patterns, deep knowledge of Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Dapr.
• Strong experience with cloud production environments- AWS (preferred)/ GCP / Azure.
• Experience with Docker, and Kubernetes for deployment and production.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and designing schemas that remain performant under growth.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
