Network Engineer

TL;DR

Location: Switzerland (Hybrid with onsite presence as per business needs)

What you will do

• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco LAN, Meraki WLAN, Citrix load balancers, and Cisco Viptela SD-WAN environments.
• Provide technical expertise on Cisco routing and switching concepts.
• Perform capacity planning, reporting, and maintain documentation of network configurations and processes.
• Design, deploy, configure, and administer LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure and supporting systems.
• Proactively monitor network devices and links to ensure high availability and SLA compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, analyze current network structure, and propose efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Cisco LAN, Meraki WLAN, Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, and Citrix load balancers.
• Proficiency in routing and switching concepts and network monitoring tools (Zenoss, Solarwinds).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
• Good communication, email, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, ITIL.
• Experience in regulated environments and compliance-driven industries.
• Technical knowledge of Azure networking.
