Nekki is a game development studio known for Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector, with more than 1.5 billion registered players worldwide. The studio develops games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
We are looking for a Sound Designer to join the team working on SPINE, an upcoming single-player third-person action game built with Unreal Engine 5. The project focuses on cinematic gun-fu shootouts, intense combat, a deep storyline, and highly polished audiovisual presentation.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Record, edit, and design high-quality sound effects including weapons, impacts, ambience, UI, cutscenes, and animation sounds
• Implement sound effects into the game using Unreal Engine 5 and Wwise
• Test and optimize audio systems to ensure correct behavior and performance
• Collaborate with the audio team to plan and achieve project goals
• Work closely with programmers on audio systems development
• Collaborate with game designers, animators, artists, and VFX teams
• Maintain and update audio documentation
📚 Required Skills
• 3+ years of commercial experience in video game audio development
• Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating relevant work
• Confident use of any professional DAW
• Hands-on experience with recording equipment and microphones
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints
• Experience with Wwise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Passion for video games and audio
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience working on AAA projects
• C++ knowledge for advanced audio integration
