What you will do

• Architect multi-tier deployment environments using OpenStack and build scalable hybrid cloud + on-prem environments.
• Design secure hosting networks and topologies for offensive cyber training.
• Partner with Platform and Content Engineers to anticipate infrastructure needs.
• Design GitLab CI/CD pipelines that make lab deployment seamless.
• Own and optimize OpenStack as our primary platform.
• Design advanced network architectures (VPNs, VLANs, SDN) and implement segmentation and security controls tailored to vulnerable labs.

Requirements

• OpenStack expertise: You’ve deployed, managed, and optimized at scale.
• Cloud platforms: 5+ years hands-on with AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Networking wizardry: TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls.
• Automation chops: GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates.
• Systems mastery: Advanced Linux + Windows Active Directory.
• Experience: 4+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles, with 2+ years in senior/architect-level positions.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity background (pen testing, vuln research, offensive/defensive labs).
• Monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Contributions to open source or technical writing.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s training platforms and methodology.
