What you will do

• Provide technical and professional guidance to teammates in the area of testing.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and backend services.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
• Utilize Generative AI tooling to facilitate and extend the testing process and increase testing coverage.
• Champion a quality-first culture throughout the engineering organisation and lead regular Bug-bash meetings.
• Acquire and document product knowledge, and contribute to sprint refinement meetings by defining testing scenarios.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proven experience building and leading the QA process and driving quality initiatives.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Kotlin, Python).
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with testing in highly regulated industries, particularly fintech or financial services.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards (KYC).
• Experience with mobile app testing (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with event-driven and event sourcing architectures.
• Experience with containerization and testing in Kubernetes environments.
