Location: Must be based in the US and available for in-person team and company-wide offsites multiple times annually.

Salary: $186,005–$218,900 USD

What you will do

• Build new services using Golang for the Card program.
• Design scalable systems with modern cloud technology and best practices.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and teams.
• Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to define roadmaps.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with Card products and building/working on such products at scale.
• Designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
• Passion for building an open financial system.
• Must be able to attend required in-person team and company-wide offsites throughout the year.

Nice to have

• Experience with rapid company growth (startup to mid-size).
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience with Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum).
• Worked with Golang, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Built financial, high reliability, or security systems.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity.
