Software Engineer II (Fullstack)

Software Engineer II (Fullstack): Designing, building, delivering, and owning full lifecycle software development from inception to production with an accent on integrating server-side (.NET, SQL) and client-side (JavaScript, ReactJS) technologies in a distributed system environment. Location: Hybrid, San Jose, CA, USA. Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from hirify.global, Inc. office in San Jose, CA. Restricted to residents of CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC.

Salary: $151,400–$227,000 / year

What you will do

• Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software from inception to production.
• Interface with multiple stakeholders (product, engineering leaders and UX designers) to understand and execute requirements.
• Drive complex software changes involving multiple components and deliver quality changes, including writing automated tests.
• Contribute to feature development by collaborating with other engineers and learning from peers.
• Iterate on and maintain existing product features, including identifying and fixing bugs and writing automated tests.
• Validate changes using existing testing methodologies (manual and automated) to ensure high-quality product releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS, including client-side libraries and frameworks.
• 2 years of experience with one or more of the following server-side languages: C#, Java, or similar.
• 2 years of experience with software development code editors and version control systems.
• 1 year of experience with Agile Scrum tools.
• 1 year of experience interacting with UX design system software to build complex workflows from mocks.
