What you will do

• Design and implement APIs using FastAPI for RESTful and event-driven microservices.
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3).
• Build and orchestrate Docker containers with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Write unit, integration, stress and end-to-end tests to uphold code quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a high-velocity startup or product-centric environment.
• Expert in Python and FastAPI.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL store.
• Hands-on AWS experience (compute, storage, serverless).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD toolchains.
• Deep understanding of the testing pyramid and test frameworks (pytest, unittest).

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Helm.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with audio processing pipelines or DSP.
• Experience with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
