What you will do

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams across various customer-facing domains.
• Set and evolve technical direction, collaborating with other engineering leaders.
• Drive modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, observability, performance monitoring).
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior individual contributors.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills in global engineering functions (25+ FTEs).
• Proven experience collaborating across various disciplines and organizational structures.
• Ability to swiftly analyze complex problems and communicate effectively at an executive level.
• Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• 15+ years of previous relevant experience in engineering.
• Proven track record of managing large technology transformation projects in the financial industry.
• Experienced in agile software development practices and coordination of product roadmaps.
• Previous exposure to high-performance and low-latency messaging development, distributed systems, financial background (C/C++ development, relational database skills).
