Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

Intern (Fintech): Support and coordinate hirify.global's UBRI program initiatives including event planning, content development, and community engagement with an accent on blockchain and fintech ecosystem collaboration. Focus on executing high-priority projects, managing communications, and fostering partnerships within a fast-paced startup environment.

Location: Hybrid with in-office collaboration in New York, USA

Salary: $28–$30.50 per hour (NY rate)

What you will do

• Execute priority initiatives with university partners, including planning logistics for the UBRI Connect 2025 in-person conference
• Develop content such as tutorials, newsletters, and podcasts to inspire community engagement
• Collaborate with Communications to align messaging with hirify.global's marketing position
• Engage partners through social media and regular communication posts
• Support hirify.global’s open-source community via hackathons, webinars, and challenges
• Perform project management and administrative duties for UBRI

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in New York, USA
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Communication or Marketing
• Available for a 12-week internship starting May or June 2026
• Intent to return to degree program after internship completion
• Leadership experience in blockchain clubs or hackathon participation preferred
• Strong communication skills and entrepreneurial attitude
