Salary: $148,100 - $275,000

What you will do

• Partner with Clinical Operations and cross-business unit teams to understand priorities and deliver integrated analytics and insights.
• Provide forecasting, risk assessment, and optimization strategies for patient recruitment and clinical site selection.
• Utilize advanced methodologies including ML/AI and predictive modeling to analyze complex clinical and real-world data.
• Lead data science projects and manage product development cycles to support portfolio-level decisions.
• Collaborate globally with subject matter experts to implement best practices and innovative data solutions.
• Coach junior team members and engage with IT and data governance teams to ensure data quality and availability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in South San Francisco at least 3 days per week
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 7+ years experience with Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent with advanced degrees) in clinical operations data analytics or related fields.
• Proven experience as a strategic partner to Clinical Operations stakeholders and leading cross-functional analytics initiatives.
• Experience with scripting and analytical programming (Python, R, SQL, JavaScript preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment.
