Graphic Designer

TL;DR

Graphic Designer: Leading the creative development and execution of visual design projects with an accent on inspiring and educating the public. Focus on creating visual representations for both external and internal needs, maintaining brand aesthetic, and managing projects from design to execution.

Location: This is not a remote position and will require relocation to the Palo Alto area if not already local.

What you will do

• Partner with Communications, Content, and Creative teams to produce assets across multiple platforms (print, digital, webcast, experiential).
• Sketch, storyboard, ideate, and generate new concepts based on stakeholder direction and research.
• Own the creative process from design to execution on projects for both internal and external use.
• Maintain the visual aesthetic of the brand.
• Lead and manage projects ranging from simple design requests to complex print-ready materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in graphic design, art, web design, or advertising).
• 1+ years of professional design experience in illustration, graphic design, or print production.
• 2+ years of digital graphic/visual design experience, preferably in a creative digital agency setting.
• An online portfolio and any supplemental samples of work in a PDF are required for consideration.
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends to accommodate prototyping and product launch campaigns.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA, and relocate if not local.

Nice to have

• Experience with client management and full-cycle production of original content.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Figma.
• Experience with animation, motion design, and motion graphics work.
• Experience with UX/UI design.
