Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 USD

What you will do

• Create and maintain a scalable, observable, and reliable platform for data ingestion, processing, and serving.
• Improve CI/CD, dev infrastructure, and security.
• Manage DR policies, SSL certificates, and DNS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and capacity planning.
• Automate services, networking rules, and access grants to enhance developer experience.
• Identify and resolve root causes of noisy alerts.
• Audit cloud spend, monitor utilization, and implement cost-saving improvements.

Requirements

• Cloud Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with cloud computing and infrastructure automation.
• Programming: Comfortable developing and debugging automation in Python.
• Automation: Expert level with Terraform and Atlantis; capable of discussing differences and nuances of TF, Puppet, Chef, CF.
• Observability Know-How: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Problem Solving: Track record of resolving on-call issues and staying cool under pressure.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, data, product, and management teams.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience working in marketing, e-commerce, or ad-tech.
• Basic familiarity with SQL and ETL processes.
• Understanding of database administration processes and automation (user provisioning, backups, cloning, replication, index management).
• GCP specific experience.
• Kubernetes experience.
