Salary: R$50.000—R$52.500 BRL (monthly)

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Brazil engineering hub.
• Recruit and develop high-performing engineers and leaders, establishing strong hiring and onboarding practices.
• Drive collaboration and alignment between Brazil-based and global teams for consistent technical direction.
• Establish local engineering operations, communication cadences, and cultural rituals.
• Represent hirify.global locally, building partnerships with universities and industry networks.
• Foster an inclusive, mission-driven, and high-performance culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience and 10+ years of overall engineering experience.
• Proven experience building or scaling new engineering offices or distributed teams.
• Strong technical foundation in infrastructure, distributed systems, or large-scale backend engineering.
• Experience building highly reliable systems and tooling that improves reliability and quality.
• Exceptional leadership, operational, and organizational acumen.
• Experience working in matrixed teams across multiple geographies.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
• Position is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Portuguese preferred.
