What you will do

• Map end-to-end data science approaches and design software architecture for projects.
• Drive technical scoping and feasibility assessments of new projects.
• Build strong client relationships as a technical advisor shaping project directions.
• Deliver bespoke algorithms and scalable software solutions for high-stakes decision-making.
• Set technical standards for project teams ensuring code quality and delivery excellence.
• Contribute to thought leadership through teaching, public speaking, or open-source projects.

Requirements

• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
• Proven experience in professional data science or quantitative academic roles with strong mathematical and statistical competence.
• Strong Python programming skills with proficiency in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Solid grasp of core data science techniques including supervised/unsupervised learning, time-series, NLP, and model validation.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical solutions for senior and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to plan projects, assess feasibility, estimate timelines, and deliver measurable outcomes.
