What you will do

• Design, develop, and document fast, secure APIs for frontend and backend consumption
• Build integrations with other applications and third-party software
• Own the full implementation cycle from design to rollout
• Work in a cross-functional squad with frontend, backend, QA engineers, product managers, and designers
• Contribute to requirements review and collaborate with PMs on feature design and planning
• Participate in Back-End Engineering Chapter and contribute to global architecture decisions

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot or Python and FastAPI
• Experience designing and implementing microservices
• Knowledge of API design (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) and documentation (OpenAPI, Swagger)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Redis, MQ, Kafka, ElasticSearch
• Ability to design and document technical solutions before implementation

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS platforms or custom-built products
• Knowledge of online payment, HRIS, payroll, or invoicing domains
• Test-driven development (TDD) experience
• Strong focus on security and application performance
