• Conduct basic and applied research on probabilistic, causal, and simulation-based AI models and LLM reasoning over structured business data.
• Engage with the academic and research community through publications and collaborations.
• Drive long-term research goals aligned with hirify.global’s fintech products and identify intermediate milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, engineers, and legal experts to translate AI research into decision-support capabilities.
• Mentor junior AI scientists and interns to guide technical growth and project success.

Requirements

• Must be located in Mountain View, California, United States.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field with AI/ML/Data Science focus.
• 5+ years of research experience with a strong publication record in top AI conferences.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Deep expertise in machine learning areas such as probabilistic modeling, causal inference, reinforcement learning, neuro-symbolic AI, and deep learning architectures.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
