What you will do
- Lead a squad of 2–4 engineers to deliver measurable product impact in ClipCrop.
- Translate high-level goals into experiments, success metrics, and incremental deliveries.
- Design AI-first workflows combining people, AI, and code for automated video clipping.
- Write and review production code primarily in modern .NET and SQL Server.
- Define and monitor system health metrics, run incident reviews, and improve reliability.
- Mentor engineers, set technical standards, and foster growth through pairing and reviews.
Requirements
- Must be based in Ukraine and work fully remotely within Ukraine.
- Proven technical leadership with experience leading small teams or streams of work end-to-end.
- Strong problem ownership from discovery through scaling with practical problem-solving skills.
- Clear and direct communication with team and stakeholders.
- AI-native mindset comfortable using and verifying AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with backend development, preferably in .NET and SQL Server.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, CI/CD, feature flags, and safe rollouts.
- Background in media/video pipelines or content analytics products.
- Interest in sports and fan engagement.
