What you will do

• Design and build tooling and automated processes for hirify.globalsearch performance benchmarking at scale.
• Maintain and improve the open source Python benchmarking tool Rally.
• Define best practices and methodologies for performance benchmarking.
• Develop solutions for benchmarking diverse use cases and workloads.
• Develop reporting and interpret benchmarking results.
• Collaborate globally across time zones.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada to comply with export controls and employment regulations.
• Expert-level Python knowledge including new features.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud architectures and multiple cloud providers.
• Familiarity with performance measurement in Linux VM and container environments.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate globally.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting performance issues in distributed architectures.
• Experience with large distributed search engines and query tuning.
• Cloud orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with hirify.globalsearch Query API and Kibana dashboards.
