What you will do

• Translate research into product by collaborating with client researchers on post-training, evaluation, and alignment tooling.
• Partner with core customers and frontier labs to tackle open-ended technical problems related to model improvement and deployment.
• Shape and propose technically rigorous model improvement work and execution plans.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to scaling pilots into repeatable offerings.
• Lead complex, high-stakes engagements with senior customer stakeholders and define success metrics.
• Build robust evaluation frameworks and share learnings to elevate technical execution.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY for onsite work.
• 5–10+ years of experience in applied AI/ML research, engineering, or technical product roles focused on LLMs or multimodal systems.
• Hands-on experience with model improvement workflows including post-training techniques and benchmarking.
• Strong technical fluency in Python, SQL, and ability to interpret research papers and metrics.
• Proven ability to work on ambiguous, complex technical problems with advanced customers or research teams.
• Executive presence and excellent communication skills for collaboration with researchers and enterprise leaders.
