TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (DevOps): Designing, automating, securing, and operating multi-cloud platforms (OCI & GCP) with an accent on high availability, resilience, security, and compliance for banking workloads. Focus on building automation, GitOps, operational excellence, and platform scalability.
Location: Remote in Romania

What you will do
- Design and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform across Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud
- Operate and optimize managed Kubernetes clusters (OKE & GKE)
- Manage platform services including Kong API Gateway, Istio/Service Mesh, Vault, and ExternalDNS
- Implement GitOps automation with ArgoCD and integrate CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and manage observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana
- Enhance platform security with SAST, DAST, RBAC, mTLS, image scanning, and DevSecOps controls
Requirements
- Must be located in Romania or work remotely from Romania
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Terraform
- Strong managed Kubernetes experience including HA, upgrades, scaling, mesh, and gateways
- Proficiency with Istio, API Gateways, Service Mesh, and traffic management
- Experience with Vault for secrets management and PKI
- GitOps (ArgoCD), CI/CD automation, Helm, Kustomize
- Strong troubleshooting skills for microservices and distributed systems
- Security experience including SAST/DAST, IAM, mTLS, admission controls
Nice to have
- 8–12+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Experience in regulated industries, banking or financial sector preferred
- Cloud and DevOps certifications (GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform)
