TL;DR

Data Scientist (AI): Develop and analyze LLM search data, build predictive models, and design metrics and experiments to improve AI-driven marketing products with an accent on LLM search visibility and product success measurement. Focus on designing evaluation workflows, conducting deep product usage analysis, and driving product strategy through data insights.

Location: Remote - South America with overlap 8am to 12pm PT required

What you will do

• Analyze large-scale LLM search data and maintain datasets, categories, and sampling methods.
• Define and track core product metrics and evaluate AI workflows to maintain quality.
• Conduct deep dives into product usage to identify opportunities and guide strategy.
• Design and interpret A/B tests to improve product features and marketing effectiveness.
• Build and maintain predictive models powering product functionality and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Growth, and Design teams.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in South America.
• 5+ years experience as a Data Scientist with ML modeling and analytics responsibility.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, experimentation, and working with large datasets.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, and defining product metrics.
• MS/PhD in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Overlap with 8am to 12pm PT required for collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Snowflake, Airflow).
• Full-stack data skills including data engineering and production ML integration.
• Experience in early-stage or fast-growing companies, especially as first data scientist.
• Exposure to embeddings, retrieval systems, and LLM architecture fundamentals.
