Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

What you will do

• Support ISSOs in maintaining system documentation and RMF compliance.
• Develop, review, and update System Security Plans, policies, and ATO documentation.
• Track and manage Plans of Action and Milestones for remediation of security findings.
• Conduct Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checks and vulnerability management.
• Prepare and submit ATO packages and support internal/external security assessments.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to resolve compliance gaps.

Requirements

• Must have active Secret clearance.
• 5-8 years experience in systems security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Familiarity with DoD RMF processes, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and compliance tools like eMASS and Nessus.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for ATO package preparation.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. Coast Guard cybersecurity programs.
• CISSP or equivalent advanced certification.
