TL;DR

Technical Support Engineer (Edge Cloud): Handling customer and internal user requests and providing technical diagnostics for Edge Cloud products and services with an accent on resolving complex technical issues and identifying patterns for service improvement. Focus on offering timely and effective solutions while enhancing overall support capabilities through knowledge sharing.

Location: Remote, hybrid, or office work options are available depending on the role. Candidates can work from anywhere in the world for up to 45 days per year. The company is headquartered in Luxembourg.

What you will do

Handle customer and internal user requests via chat, email, and occasionally phone calls in English.
Provide consultations regarding Edge Cloud products and services.
Conduct technical diagnostics to resolve issues and escalate to higher support levels.
Address complex technical issues and provide timely, effective solutions.
Identify patterns and trends in technical issues, suggest improvements, and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements

2+ years of Technical Support experience.
English level B2 or higher.
Good networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, MAC address, ping, traceroute).
Solid hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu or CentOS) and API.
Understanding of OpenStack or other open-source Cloud infrastructure software.
Familiarity with ITIL best practices and incident management.

Nice to have

Experience with SQL.
