Infrastructure Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on dedicated servers.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Ansible or SaltStack.
• Deploy and tune Redpanda/Kafka streaming clusters, Valkey caches, and Elasticsearch indexes.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, and related tools.
• Plan capacity and optimize resource utilization across hundreds of servers.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and collaborate with developers on microservices infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must have solid Linux system administration skills and experience with large-scale infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Proficiency with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
• Familiarity with Redpanda/Kafka, Valkey/Redis, Elasticsearch, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics.
• Ability to script in Bash or Python and good understanding of networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
