What you will do

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for the Belgian entity under Belgian GAAP using Odoo.
• Reconcile monthly bank and crypto wallet transactions including multi-currency accounts.
• Prepare and file monthly VAT returns and quarterly intercompany reconciliations.
• Post and reconcile trading revenue, fees, rebates, and staking rewards.
• Support month-end closing, group consolidation, flux analysis, and annual audits.
• Assist in implementing new tools and automations during migration to NetSuite.

Requirements

• Must be based in Belgium with EU citizenship or valid work permit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1-5 years of bookkeeping experience under Belgian GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo or similar accounting software and crypto accounting knowledge.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch plus professional English proficiency.
• Good knowledge of Belgian VAT rules and corporate tax basics.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable managing large transaction volumes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS and MiCA reporting.
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Excel VBA) or interest in automation.
• Experience in scale-up, fintech, or trading companies.
