What you will do

• Build and maintain backend features and APIs using Nest.js and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product and engineering leads to implement scalable backend services
• Write unit and integration tests and improve test coverage
• Contribute to API documentation, schema design, and cross-service contracts
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 4–6 years of backend development experience with Node.js/Nest.js
• Ability to build and scale real-world APIs in production
• Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL), REST API standards, and backend architecture
• Experience working at startups or fast-paced teams
• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-tested code
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Nice to have

• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, SNS/SQS)
• Experience with logistics, SaaS, or real-time tracking systems
• Exposure to Prisma ORM, WebSockets, or event-driven patterns
• Experience with LLM-powered services or backend integrations
