What you will do

• Initiate and contribute to the continuous improvement of software delivery processes and practices.
• Use automation extensively to design, configure, manage, and monitor systems.
• Design and architect operational solutions for standardization, automation, repeatability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers and SREs to design and build scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient Cloud infrastructure.
• Adhere to and advocate for best practices including Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and DevOps methodologies.
• Provide timely assistance and remediation solutions during critical situations and production incidents, including on-call support.

Requirements

• Fluency in English as a working language is required.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux Systems.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices, specifically Terraform.
• Ability to read and write complex scripts using Shell, and understand programming languages like Python, Ruby, or Go.

Nice to have

• Good understanding of Agile development and continuous delivery best practices.
• Experience provisioning and managing infrastructures with high availability constraints.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization.
