What you will do
- Define and improve metrics representing product performance and operations efficiency.
- Collect, clean, organize, and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
- Search for inefficiencies and suggest solutions.
- Assess solutions through backtesting, A/B testing, and modeling.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve the data landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience with analytical databases (Vertica, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse).
- Solid knowledge of Python (pandas, data manipulation, basic visualization, and common analytical/ML libraries).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, statistical significance, and experiment evaluation.
- Ability to build simple machine learning models (e.g., classifiers, scoring models, logistic regression, tree-based models) for analytical and operational use cases.
