What you will do

• Build custom Python and Ruby libraries for generating test data.
• Design and implement better abstractions for automated regression tests.
• Integrate third-party test tools to expand QA capabilities.
• Track long-term QA metrics for the platform.
• Collaborate with DevOps on improving automated regression system execution time.
• Perform release management and post-release monitoring as part of the QA team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer for non-trivial web applications.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails or Ruby.
• Experience building libraries, CLI tools, and services for developers and QA.
• Strong ability to write technical documentation.
• Experience setting up and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience using SQL and working with Postgres.
• Strong experience in QA or DevOps.
• Experience in Data Driven testing.
