What you will do

• Drive technological solutions to enhance facial animation quality and workflow efficiency.
• Convert visual and performance objectives into actionable tools, pipelines, and runtime requirements.
• Leverage and research current and emerging technologies for practical application.
• Contribute to scalable development of production pipelines.
• Facilitate collaboration between animation and engineering teams.
• Partner with engineers and artists to realize creative visions in performance animation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Los Angeles, California, United States
• Over 10 years of experience with facial technologies in games, film, or related sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Advanced technical skills in Maya and strong proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of shader development and facial animation pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Modeling and drawing skills.
• Strong demo reel showcasing dynamic character rigs and hair/cloth simulation.
• Programming experience in C++ and C#.
