What you will do

• Integrate as an integral part of the squad/value stream, understanding end-to-end business processes and technical solutions.
• Contribute to defining story scope and acceptance criteria.
• Create or contribute to test approaches, planning, designing, and executing testing.
• Verify changes, perform targeted Regression Testing, and ensure timely defect resolution.
• Participate actively in squad ceremonies and wider test chapter meetings.
• Actively learn and use testing tools and techniques to increase efficiency and personal knowledge in quality engineering and test automation.

Requirements

• Experience in traditional test phases/methodologies such as UAT, System test, or Agile testing.
• Knowledge of the software testing process and ability to use tools for planning, preparation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Experience testing specific system or application software, including Web, API, or Data Warehousing using appropriate tools.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess good organizational and analytical skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of issues.

Nice to have

• ISTQB or other software testing certification.
• Insurance business knowledge.
• Previous exposure to software delivery/projects.
• Experience of using Jira, ADO, or Zephyr.
• Agile testing knowledge.
• Test planning, test management, test reporting.
