What you will do

• Provide technical systems integration expertise and guide implementations within the API & Digital Lab.
• Translate business requirements and specifications into infrastructure designs, considering capacity, reliability, and performance.
• Lead the full lifecycle of infrastructure platforms, including builds, application integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with domain experts and software engineers to validate and deliver new capabilities.
• Support budgetary planning by providing cost estimates for infrastructure changes.

Requirements

• Strong systems integration experience across multiple infrastructure technologies (Server, Storage, Network, Database, Application server).
• Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery within an Agile environment.
• Knowledge and practical experience with API Microservice Architecture.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and explaining complex technical concepts.
• Background in DevOps best practices or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Ability to understand, model complex systems, recognize patterns, and design scalable architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience of private and public Cloud delivery (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with containers, orchestration, and service mesh (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio).
• Knowledge of IBM Datapower and IBM API Connect.
• Previous Banking/Finance industry experience.
