Java Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid. Must be within commutable distance of London, Southampton, Cardiff, or Manchester, UK.

What you will do

• Deliver robust and scalable code for customer service solutions.
• Build solid solutions that enable customers to help themselves and find bank offerings easily.
• Provide Operations teams with the best tools to assist customers quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to the delivery of new features.
• Take full ownership from building and designing to sharing knowledge and ensuring efficient processes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of delivering robust and scalable code.
• 3-5 years of commercial experience with Java.
• Proven track record of applying best practices and delivering high-quality software.
• Experience with distributed service-based architecture.
• Caring about customers, the code you write, and your contributions to hirify.global.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and Postgres.
• Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes (EKS), TeamCity, Terraform, and Grafana.
