What you will do

• Lead the US security organization and drive second line security services delivery.
• Define and execute country-specific security strategies aligned with the global CISO.
• Coordinate the US Virtual Security Team to improve security maturity and remove silos.
• Oversee incident response plans and ensure timely handling of security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with information security laws and regulations in the US.
• Engage and update senior management on security risks and initiatives.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in San Diego, CA, US with willingness to attend in-person events and meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in information security and 5 years IT experience.
• Strong expertise in enterprise security risk management, frameworks, and compliance.
• Valid industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
• Ability to engage senior leadership and communicate security risks effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST frameworks.
• Knowledge of US-specific security laws and regulations.
