What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement security measures to protect enterprise resources, networks, systems, and data.
• Configure, deploy, and monitor security tools including SIEM, WAF, Firewall, Zero-Trust, IAM, MFA, EPP, SOAR, and others.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate new risk management methods and tools.
• Collaborate with business executives to provide visibility into security risks and manage mitigation strategies.
• Lead security operations support, incident management, and oversee cybersecurity engineering teams.
• Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert providing guidance and consulting to IT and business units.

Requirements

• Must be located in Phoenix, AZ and willing to commute to Mesa, AZ office three days a week.
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of progressive technology experience.
• At least 5 years in cybersecurity engineering or architecture leadership roles.
• Certifications: CISSP or CompTIA Security+ (DoD Directive 8140 minimum).
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (SOX, PCI, NIST, ISO, SOC 2).

Nice to have

• Additional security certifications such as GSEC, OSCP, CISM.
