What you will do

• Guide a development group and influence architectural decisions for a new engineering platform.
• Oversee a development team and support engineers, ensuring system reliability and delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the codebase with hands-on engineering.
• Participate in the long-term transformation of core system redesigns and rebuilds.

Requirements

• Seven years or more working in software development.
• Experience with Python or a JVM language (Kotlin, Java).
• Experience with cloud environments and infrastructure as code.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Skilled in writing clear and maintainable code and comfortable working on large-scale projects.
• Able to work with stakeholders and translate needs into technical work.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience with Typescript or frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Spring or related frameworks.
