Senior IT System Engineer (SaaS Automation)

Location: Hybrid, based in Bordeaux (2 remote days a week and 1 remote work week per quarter, plus 3 flex days)

What you will do

• Act as a senior technical contributor, providing direction and thought leadership across complex automation and integration initiatives.
• Design scalable architectures for IT workflows and systems, bringing clarity to technical choices.
• Build and maintain advanced automation across internal SaaS ecosystem (Okta, Workday, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Jamf).
• Develop and own tools to enhance system efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support compliance/security.
• Take end-to-end ownership of key projects from design to implementation and operational hand-off.
• Lead incident post-mortems and root cause analysis for internal IT services.

Requirements

• Experience in IT engineering, infrastructure, or automation roles in a SaaS-heavy environment.
• Strong hands-on coding/scripting skills (Python, Shell scripting, or similar).
• Solid experience with SaaS APIs and integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Tray.io, n8n).
• In-depth knowledge of Okta, identity lifecycle automation, and endpoint management (Jamf, Workspace ONE).
• Ability to drive architectural decisions and lead technical projects across multiple teams.
• Fluent in English (C1+) required; French is a plus.
