Location: Requires on-site attendance in Paris Area (Issy-les-Moulineaux), France. Hybrid policy allows up to 3 days remote per week. Relocation package applicable for candidates moving to France.

New Tales is looking for a Release Manager to oversee the release process of multi-platform games and contribute to building a world-class publishing pipeline.

What you will do

  • Oversee the entire release process, from initial build preparation to post-launch support and monitoring.
  • Ensure game builds meet platform certification requirements (TRC, XR) and handle age rating submissions (ESRB, PEGI).
  • Act as the main point of contact with platform holders (Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Nintendo), using their developer portals for submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, publishing, marketing) and external partners on release schedules.
  • Configure game products on digital store platforms, including metadata, pricing, and assets.
  • Maintain up-to-date release documentation and ensure compliance with platform guidelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in game publishing, release management, or a related technical role with a focus on multi-platform game launches (console and PC).
  • Hands-on experience with platform certification processes (TRCs, TCRs, Lotcheck) and developer portals.
  • Familiarity with age rating certifications (ESRB, PEGI).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Passion for gaming and commitment to quality as a team player.
