Senior Cloud Engineer (Security): Designing and implementing micro-segmentation security solutions using Infrastructure as Code, Python, and Go with an accent on cloud security best practices, data protection, and compliance. Focus on continuously improving the product, integrating new technologies, and securing cloud-native designs within a DevOps approach.

Location: Hybrid work from Hannover, Essen, Munich, Berlin, Wuerzburg, Hamburg, or Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Workation possible for up to 20 days per year within Europe.

What you will do

• Design and implement micro-segmentation solutions using IaC (Python, Go).
• Continuously improve product performance, optimize cost, and incorporate feedback.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance (IAM, encryption, auditing).
• Analyze and test innovative technologies to enhance team capabilities.
• Secure cloud-native designs, Kubernetes, and crossplane experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in an agile, distributed, multi-national team.
• Understanding of Networking and Security technologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
