What you will do
- Plan, create, and execute manual test cases aligned with project requirements and user stories.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on test estimates, approaches, and reports.
- Manage defect logging, tracking, prioritization, and retesting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third parties to ensure quality outcomes.
- Support performance, load, and non-functional testing activities.
- Identify manual test cases suitable for automation and support automation efforts.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom.
- Experience in manual testing, test strategies, and software delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Appium, and test management tools like JIRA and Browserstack.
- Understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements (FCA), and operational risk management.
- ISTQB/ISEB certification (Foundation or Advanced level) preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Web and Mobile testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Exposure to IBM iSeries/AS400, DB2, RPG.
