Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain platform services and core capabilities using Python and Django
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure including EKS, S3, SES, and Lambda
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows to increase reliability
• Implement observability systems and monitor platform health
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Collaborate with development teams to improve platform and developer productivity

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Vienna, Austria
• 5-8 years experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps
• Strong Python skills, preferably with Django or FastAPI
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or ArgoCD
• Good English communication skills

Nice to have

• German language skills
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and container orchestration
