Senior Privacy Specialist

Senior Privacy Specialist (Cybersecurity): Lead privacy risk identification, treatment, and monitoring across global teams with an accent on compliance with international privacy laws and data protection frameworks. Focus on executing privacy impact assessments, managing privacy policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.

Location: Hybrid, minimum 2 days per week onsite in Cork, Ireland

What you will do

• Identify, treat, and monitor privacy risks across functional teams and business groups.
• Lead execution of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).
• Maintain up-to-date Records of Processing and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Act as key contact for privacy queries and collaborate on privacy policy updates and assessments.
• Support complex data subject rights requests and provide expert advice on global privacy laws.
• Partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to implement privacy requirements and best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role with minimum 2 days per week onsite in Cork, Ireland
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 4+ years of relevant privacy/data protection experience.
• Preferred certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT.
• Deep understanding of global privacy standards including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, LGPD, PIPL, and AADC.
• Experience with privacy management software and strong technical knowledge of compliance evidence.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills with ability to work independently and in teams.
