What you will do

• Lead product quality integration across the SDLC including shift-left testing and CI/CD quality gates.
• Own release management: plan releases, manage freeze windows, coordinate rollouts, and execute rollback plans.
• Design and maintain automation for UI, API, component, and end-to-end tests; establish non-functional baselines.
• Develop and evolve performance and stress testing suites; define SLIs/SLOs and gate releases accordingly.
• Translate business initiatives into clear acceptance and success criteria.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, AI, and DevOps teams to ensure observability and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work with teams in the United States or other hirify.globalAI offices.
• 6–10+ years in QA/Software Engineering with experience in release management and large-scale test automation.
• Proficiency in Python and React for test harnesses and UI testability.
• Experience with microservices, containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and test frameworks like Playwright, PyTest, and JMeter.
• Demonstrated experience validating AI/LLM features and strong systems thinking with telemetry and observability.
• Excellent communication skills for clarifying requirements and leading quality reviews.
