QA Automation Engineer

TL;DR

QA Automation Engineer (SaaS/Healthtech): Ensuring the quality of Tuotempo’s products through the design, implementation, and execution of tests, with an accent on manual functional tests and automated E2E testing. Focus on reporting bugs, evaluating product compliance, and writing documentation for automated processes.

Location: Remote from anywhere in Italy or from our office in Bologna.

What you will do

• Ensure products and applications work correctly.
• Assess software quality through manual functional tests.
• Design, develop, and execute test protocols for automated E2E testing.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and conduct pre/post-release testing.
• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans and test cases.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a software tester/engineer.
• Experience writing automated tests (e.g., using Playwright, Cypress).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
• Understanding of object-oriented concepts.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Javascript.
