What you will do

• Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance database solutions across RDBMS, NoSQL, ClickHouse, and Azure services
• Lead automation initiatives using scripting and Infrastructure as Code to improve operational processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Perform advanced data modeling, schema optimization, capacity planning, and troubleshooting complex database issues
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders on architecture and design decisions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in database operations
• Drive compliance with security and regulatory standards and participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

• Must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru, India and work rotational shifts (24x7)
• 8-11 years of experience in database administration and architecture with RDBMS, NoSQL, and ClickHouse
• Strong experience with Azure database services including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Explorer
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Perl for automation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for database deployments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and guide teams

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems and high-availability architectures
• Knowledge of key-value stores like Redis or Aerospike
• Familiarity with version control and configuration management tools
• Understanding of security compliance and regulatory requirements
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices for database operations
