What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable, resilient secure cloud environments aligned with business goals.
• Own security projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure and security assurance.
• Develop compliance programs and ensure adherence to regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Serve as a cloud security subject matter expert and communicate security posture to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a supportive team environment.
• Define and track key performance indicators for cloud security effectiveness.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada or able to work remotely within Canada.
• 7+ years experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, and cloud security with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, network security, identity, encryption, and API security.
• Experience with AWS and cloud security tools (CWPP, CSPM, CDN/WAF).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, JavaScript, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS, ISO, SOC 2, PCI DSS.

Nice to have

• Security certifications like AWS, GCSA, CKA, CCSP, CCSK.
• Experience in financial services industry.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in cybersecurity, software engineering, or related field.
