What you will do

• Embed quality into the development process, participating in design discussions, architecture reviews, and CI/CD integration.
• Implement and suggest improvements to automated quality gates to ensure releases meet expected quality standards.
• Maintain and update automated tests for hirify.global products, developing new tests and enhancing existing test suites.
• Engineer testing infrastructure, including test environments, mocks, and emulators.
• Track and analyze test results, investigate failures, verify fixes, and identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Coach development and QA teams on modern testing practices, automation strategies, and quality ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Solid programming skills in Java or Kotlin.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• A good understanding of software architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and maintaining test frameworks or reusable testing libraries.
• Practical knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and DevOps.

Nice to have

• Experience in developer tools, IDEs, or large-scale multi-product ecosystems.
• Knowledge of test infrastructure (containers, emulators, mocks, or ephemeral environments).
• Familiarity with observability tools and using data for quality insights.
• Experience with AI-powered features or ML model validation.
